Biography

Alex represents individuals, corporate clients, and lenders in various types of civil litigation, including contract disputes related to breach of contract, foreclosure, land use and zoning, partition, quiet title, and post-closing disputes between buyers and sellers of real estate.

Alex also represents municipal clients with matters such as eminent domain, code enforcement, and administrative hearings before boards or commissions.

Before joining the firm, Alex served as Deputy General Counsel for the Kentucky Real Estate Authority and as General Counsel for the Kentucky Workers' Compensation Funding Commission.

He tried 23 jury trials during his time as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney for Jefferson and Bullitt Counties in Kentucky. Alex also has prior transactional real estate experience as the managing attorney of a satellite office for a real estate and title firm.

Alex lives in Louisville with his wife, Stephanie, and their seven children.
