W. Wood Brown

Wood practices primarily in areas related to commercial litigation assisting clients with contract disputes related to breach of contract, real estate disputes, foreclosures, evictions (for landlords), and other matters. He is admitted to practice in Indiana and Kentucky.

Wood obtained his J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law with Cum Laude honors. He received his undergraduate degrees from Western Kentucky University with a double major in history and economics with a minor in legal studies receiving Cum Laude honors, along with graduating as a member of the Mahurin Honors College. While at WKU, he served in several leadership positions such as President of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, President of the Inter Fraternity Council, and as a Student Alumni Ambassador. He also received honors such as the James H. Poteet Scholarship, Student Activities Outstanding Senior, and the WKU Greek Man of the Year award.

While at U of L Law, Wood served as a Street Law teacher for the Central High School Law magnet teaching upper-level civics to sophomores. He was a member of the Business Law Society and part of the Ordered Liberty Fellowship Summer Abroad Program traveling to Budapest and Vienna covering various topics on international and First Amendment law.
